And it isn’t real, it’s made up from what others did for us or to us during those formative years. So of course you’d want to go messing with your beliefs, because normal beliefs hold normal people back.

You need to mess with your beliefs. You need to get to the real, inner you, to find true happiness – that is where you will discover a you that is unstained by the crap of normal conditioning, unsullied by the deeply held beliefs that mess up our normal lives – stupid beliefs that keep us in our place – like we should know our place, like you’ve got to work hard to succeed, like pain is never far behind pleasure, that pride comes before a fall – prepare your own list.

Forget that nonsense. Indeed, forget about who you thought you were and discover who you really are – and the wonderful life that you can really have. The thoughts you’re entertaining are stopping you doing. Stop wasting your energy, forget your thoughts, leaving space for the flights of fancy to surface – because they are not thoughts, but inspiration and inspiration only comes to the clear minded.

And in the present moment, you have a choice in regard to your behaviour and actions (more often reactions) too. And, depending on the choice that you make, you can quite literally change your life. How much time and energy have you literally thrown away so far today? How much time have you squandered sitting in front of your PC’s screen, staring blankly? How much of your precious and vital energy have you wasted gossiping about and delighting in the misfortune or misdeeds of others? You’ve probably misspent some precious time shuffling you’re “To Do” list until there’s no time left to do! Or how much of your time and energy have you devoted to doing things you basically shouldn’t be doing – like surfing the net for things that have nothing to do with anything important, reading emails that were copied to you so someone else’s ass would be covered, reading the sordid details of domestic violence that fill each day’s newspapers? Every moment that you waste is a unique now that you will never live again. And what we achieve in this life is the sum total of how we spend each precious moment.

At the very least, in considering some of these questions you might start to realize just how much of your time is wasted on doing things that are holding you back from living the life that you want. But these are energy-wasters that you’re aware off – here’s the big question. How much energy are you squandering that you’re not aware of? Because, unless your subconscious mind is engrossed in profitable activity in the present moment, it is still happily wandering arount your childhood years, thinking that your childhood events are actually happening now – and you have no idea whatsoever that that’s what’s actually happening.
